I will overwhelm 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Former two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Mindset

"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's greatest financial successes, regularly earning substantial earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
